"I purchased a gift cert. very easily online after my first in-office visit. I recently moved to downtown
Seattle and needed a new Botox and filler clinic. After researching clinics in my area I went into
SkinMD last week for the first time. The Dr. and staff were soooo great! They were extremely professional,
knowledgeable, and genuine. Her staff took a lot of time evaluating my skin- WITHOUT ANY sales
pressure and explained some of things I am currently doing to cause damage to my skin as well as how
to correct the damage I already have. My old clinic never did this. They just sold me product after
product and told me it was the latest thing that I shouldn't live without. SkinMD actually takes the
time to review, and understand the technology and chemical mechanism for each product before they
introduce it to the client. They want to make sure the product actually does what the label says it does.
They want to know the active ingredients, mechanism of action, and success rate. In fact, the Dr. at
SkinMD said to bring in the products I already have. She said she'd go through them to determine what
to use, buy, and throw away. She didn't want me to purchase a single product on that first visit. The big
news, however, is about the Dr. and her work. She treats these injections not as wrinkle reducers/eliminators
but as a chance to truly sculpt your face- as an artist would. She simply asked me what was bothering me
and what I would like to see changed. Sometimes you don't need a dermal filler in the nasolabial fold to get
rid of laugh lines, sometimes you need some filler to lift your cheeks-therefore eliminating the same laugh lines.
She figures out what strategy will alleviate the issue and produces superior results. She didn't try to sell me
more services/product than I wanted or needed during the procedure. She perfects the art of making you
beautiful and symmetrical without appearing "over-done". She said, "I leave the decision up to the client if
they want to tell people that they had something done" I love her! Although the prices are in the high-normal
range of the Botox and dermal filler spectrum, I am definitely not going anywhere else! With all the attention
and knowledge obtained while you are there- the whole visit should be considered inexpensive! You must
see her and her staff at least once! I was paying almost the same price with my other Dr. but without the
special considerations given to me by SkinMD. Word of advice- I am not rich so I find it easier to buy an
online gift cert. for myself each month and save them up. Every few months or year(depending on
procedure/product)when I need to come in again, it won't bust my budget. I am simply budgeting beauty
and skin health on a monthly basis- and there's nothing wrong with that! ALSO- see there monthly
