Dr. Balogun received her Medical Doctorate degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, where she also completed the Accelerated Psychiatry Program with Honors. She subsequently completed her General Surgery internship and Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center and Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, where she also completed additional training in Craniofacial Reconstructive Surgery as well as Congenital Disorders and Genetics.
Her expertise is noninvasive and minimally invasive, balanced and natural face and body rejuvenation, with special emphasis on the management acne and hyperpigmentation in men and women with skin of color.
In her clinical practice, Dr. Balogun has continued to train nationally and internationally and she brings her extensive knowledge about the scientific advancements in the field of Regenerative and Aesthetic Medicine to the daily care of her patients. She was specially chosen and successfully completed the Master Course Level 3 Advanced PDO Threads training in Seoul, South Korea under the tutelage of the leading threads creator and innovator, Dr. Lee at the Korean Bioengineering and Rejuvenation Society.
Dr. Balogun is a clinical consultant and national trainer of expert dermal filler and PDO thread lift treatment techniques, with emphasis on utilizing minimally invasive injection techniques and combination procedures to achieve a natural, balanced and youthful look.
She is a Physician member of the World Society Of Interdisciplinary Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine (WOSIAM) now known as the Aesthetic Multispecialty Society (AMS). She has also participated in membership and educational activities in the Skin of Color Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and the Society of Plastic Surgery Skin Care Specialists.
